Young Adult Group (ages 18-40)
Who Are the Annunciation DC Young Adults?
We are a community of Catholic young professionals and students primarily in our 20's, 30's and 40's. Our group is a diverse mixture of people in many stages of life. Please join us as we grow in Christ’s call to deepen our faith by serving those in need, sharing our faith with one another and the larger community, receiving the sacraments, and socializing at our monthly gatherings and at parish events. Newcomers are always welcome!

Dinner and Discourse - Monthly young adult night where we share dinner, listen to a guest speaker or watch a movie, and engage in deep conversation about our Catholic faith.
Annunciation Volunteer Service Opportunities - We serve God’s people with many organizations, including Bread for the City, Senior Grocery Run, the Parish Clothing Drive and Christmas Bazaar, St. Luke's Shelter, and FAIRGirls. Contact Tom Keenan for more information.
Young Adult Mass - Many of us attend the 10:30 am Sunday Mass and gather informally afterwards. We also have a Young Adult Mass every other month where we serve as lectors, Eucharistic ministers, altar servers, gift bearers, and hospitality greeters. After Mass, we gather for lunch and fellowship. Contact Marie Selvanadin or

Socials - Potlucks, Holy Brew, Movie Nights, Brunches, and more!Retreat - Yearly winter retreat where we remove ourselves from the distractions of everyday life and enter more deeply into our faith to engage with God and one another.
Multi-Parish Young Adult Events - The Archdiocese of Washington (ADW) hosts many events of which we are a part, including Theology on Tap, Oktoberfest, Young Adults Day of Service, Kraków in the Capital (a stateside World Youth Day experience), and the Seven Church Walk.
