“Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other Sacraments” (Catechism of the Catholic Church #1213).
Infant Baptism
Preparation for the baptism of infants can begin during pregnancy. Preparation classes are given as needed. We ask that parents attend one preparation session, which focuses on the theology of Baptism & the signs and symbols of the sacrament. Infant baptisms are usually scheduled on Saturdays at 9:45am or Sundays immediately following the 10:30am Mass. Adult Baptism
Baptism of Adults and children 7 years or older are accomplished through participation in the Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) process.
